Everyone on this planet suffers from anxiety at some point of their life. Some might have experienced a lump in their throat, butterflies in their stomach, rapid breathing or redness in their face. It affects everyone differently. Some people can shake it off and overcome it like it never happened. Others are deeply affected by it and possibly live with it on a daily basis. It’s part of their genetic makeup. They wake up with it. They walk around with it. They go to work with it. They loose sleep over it and often go to sleep with it. It poses challenges for their every day lives, and just like any sufferer out there, they dream of some escape, even if for a moment, because it rules their lives without any choice.
In my experience, there is no cure, miracle pill, workout, breathing exercise that I’ve ever successfully done that eliminated stress and anxiety. If there’s articles out there, I’ve read them. If there’s exercises or rituals out there, I’ve practiced them religiously. I’ve exhausted everything and it’s the reason I decided to start Anxiety Living.
In trial and error, there are things that help suppress anxiety. There are things you can do that will will make life a little easier. Each of us has a different outcome to remedies, so I would never suggest to someone to change what works, however, I wanted to share my personal experiences and what has shown some success for me.
